Hey Class,

I was searching for more sources, interestingly as I was checking my facebook updates, I came across a mom who wrote about her daughter, who she lost earlier this year and her update really touched me. I might use this as one of my source in my paper.

STICKER THERAPY TIME!!!
"My girls and I spent almost 4 hours of fun yesterday putting together sticker packets. Some of you may not know what these are.

When Abigail spent so much time inpatient as a 1 and 2 year old, she loved stickers. They were wonderful distractions and because stickers are so varied, she didn't tire of playing with them. We decided that with all the chemotherapy and radiotherapy and antibody therapy, we would also start Sticker Therapy. Many, many people donated stickers from near and far, for quite a while. And we amassed a big box of stickers!!! It has lasted us for a long time, and we have been able to make a lot of Sticker Therapy packets for children.

Abigail used to hand them out personally, but now we take them to the oncology unit for the nurses to hand out. The feedback has been wonderful: that children love having something to manipulate and play with (other than a screen). So we want to keep making sticker packets and giving them away, even after we move" (Facebook).
